Éva Rose Lund is an illustrator, artist, thinker and creator.
Childhood cartoons influence the young artist's style in more ways than one. Outlandish characters from distant planets, to coffee-fueled fish, to mermaids, wizards and hybrids.
You'll find that her bold black line work, combined with big bubbly shapes, and exciting colors bring each and every creation to life.
In recent years, Lund has found herself drawn to the storytelling and simplicity of comic art. Inspired by classics like "The Far Side" by Gary Larson and "Calvin and Hobbs" by Bill Watterson, she depicts her own life in quick and comical panels.
Lund continues to experiment with new materials, methods and techniques. Currently, she has discovered her love for creating 3D works, especially in the miniature realm.
She hopes that whatever her mind and hands create evoke a sense of wonder in the viewer, and inspires them to ignite their own imagination.
Eva has a Diploma of Illustration from the Victoria College of Arts, BC Canada.
